About Me

Hi, I’m Peter! I'm a photographer and videographer based on Massachusetts’ North Shore, working across New England and beyond on creative audiovisual projects.

I graduated from Northeastern University in May 2025 with a BA in Communications and Media Screen Studies. I currently freelance as a camera operator for Northeastern Athletics Video Production and provide event photography for St. John’s Prep, alongside a range of independent creative work.

Since 2020, I’ve expanded my portfolio through directing, shooting, and editing promotional videos, documentaries, and photo projects. My work has taken me from NYC Fashion Week to London’s jazz scene, as well as college athletics and community events, all driven by collaboration and shared creative visions!

Harvard & Northeastern University

Broadcast Camera Operator

Since 2023, I have worked on 100+ live broadcasts for both Harvard’s and Northeastern’s Athletics Video Production departments. I operate cameras (tripod and over the shoulder) for NCAA D1 sports: basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and more. Recently, I’ve been branching out to graphics and replay roles, but the camera is where my heart lives. A professional goal of mine is to operate cameras courtside for NBA broadcasts someday!

Event Photographer

In Fall of 2024, I joined the Marketing and Communications staff at SJP as a part-time event photographer. Using my Sony A7ii, I attend and shoot various school events from sports to concerts to promotions to club events. I edit my photos with Adobe Lightroom then upload them to the team via Google Drive to be eventually posted on Instagram and used in the Prep magazine.

Cardillo's World - NBC Sports Boston

Commercial Director & Editor

In Summer of 2024, I had the honor of joining the inspirational crew at “Cardillo’s World” on NBC Sports Boston as a director/editor for their show and their sponsors. In 6 months, we shot one episode, one promo, and two commercials that now air on live TV every weekend. From this experience, I learned about the importance of export settings to meet specific technical settings of a TV network. I trimmed and polished existing episodes using Adobe Premiere to fit the showrunners' vision.

Production Studios Technician

During my final full year of classes, I found part-time work at the studios where I was already spending most of my time doing schoolwork. At Shillman Hall, I facilitated the use of the university's green screen studio, TV studio, music studios, podcast studio, and editing rooms along with helping students from the College of Arts, Media, and Design rent and properly care for AV equipment (cameras, microphones, MIDIs, etc.).

IFC Films (AMC Networks)

Postproduction Coordinator

Working hybrid for IFC Films in NYC, I coordinated the delivery of music cue sheets, photo ID sheets, billing blocks, and more from domestic and international filmmakers to ensure timely legal approval for 24 feature films in the span of 6 months. I quality checked screeners for accurate audio descriptions, captioning, and TV ratings. In the NYC office, I packaged and shipped all physical IP of AMC to their Long Island office, including original tapes of Breaking Bad Better Call Saul, my favorite shows of all time.

IT & Audiovisual Technician

As my first Co-op, I worked as a full time IT technician at HLS. In this role, I expanded my tech-savviness and rewired how I approach troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues. I serviced classrooms, courtrooms, and event spaces to ensure their tech needs were met everyday. I managed the IT service desk to assist students and faculty experiencing technical difficulties. After 6 months, I was asked to continue working part-time to train the next group of Co-ops.
